Sh! It's a secret... Table!

Chef and Restaurateur Neil Perry will be Serving up Smiles in August and September, asking Australians to harness their love of good food and good company to support the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

The country’s finest chefs and premium restaurants are donating a Dinner for 4 and potential diners can book a secret table online with a $400 donation to the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
But like all good dishes, this meal comes with a twist … Guests have no idea which restaurant they will dine at until the cloche is lifted on September 20th to reveal and allocate all tables.
Rockpool Bar & Grill, Marque and Buon Ricordo are among the restaurants with secret tables up for grabs!

“Australia is enjoying a culinary renaissance and Serving up Smiles is a great opportunity to share the joy of food with children who are facing serious health challenges,” says Perry.
Neil Perry is encouraging fellow chefs to get involved and, like Luke Nguyen and George Calombaris, has recently granted Starlight Wishes across the country – cooking with aspiring foodies who are seriously and chronically ill.
Starlight CEO Louise Baxter says, “Serving up Smiles is all about encouraging people to indulge in Australia’s vibrant food culture to transform the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children and young people”.

“Sadly, every minute of every day a child is admitted to hospital in Australia, some of these children will go on to receive a diagnosis that will change their lives and the lives of their family forever,” says Baxter.

Funds raised will go towards transforming the hospital experience for seriously ill children by supporting programs like, Captain Starlight, Starlight Express Rooms, and our adolescent program, Livewire.

The Starlight Children’s Foundation receives no government funding, instead, relying on the generosity of the Australian community.

Starlight’s programs are delivered seven days a week and are integral to the total care of seriously ill children and young people – while the health professionals focus on treating the illness, Starlight is there to lift the spirits of the child.

Indulge your passion for food and you too can serve up a smile to those who need it most!
